Turkmenistan has made progress in the implementation of the «Single Window for Export-Import Operations» system

Members of the Interdepartmental Working Group for Coordinating the Operation of the «Single Window for Export-Import Operations» noted the progress made in the implementation of the «Single Window for Export-Import Operations» system in priority sectors of the country's economy. This is reported by the official website of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan.

Thus, export-import operations in the system of providing customs services have been significantly simplified, procedures for customs clearance, monitoring and control of licenses, certificates and permits have been modernized.

The meeting was attended by a representative of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD). As part of the Memorandum of Understanding signed in 2020 between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the United Nations Development Programme, UNCTAD is helping to facilitate the implementation of the «Single Window for Export-Import Operations» project in Turkmenistan.

The functions of the window also include electronic services for obtaining the status of a person carrying out activities in the field of customs, electronic customs declaration, etc.

Exclusion of the human factor will also increase the transparency of the actions of customs and other government agencies.
