Turkmen sportswomen win two more medals at the World Kurash Championship in India

Two more medals were added to the treasury of the national team of Turkmenistan at the 13th World Kurash Championship in the Indian city of Pune.

Silver in our team in the 48 kg weight category was won by the coach-teacher of the 2nd sports school of the Main Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Lebap velayat Ayshirin Haydarova, and bronze in the weight up to 52 kg was won by the coach-teacher of the 7th sports school of the Lebap velayat Aynur Amanova.

Earlier, the first bronze medal was brought to the team of Turkmenistan by a second-year student of the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports, Aziza Kurbanova, who became third in the weight category up to 78 kg.

The women's team of Turkmenistan was preparing for the World Kurash Championship under the guidance of the head coach Shirin Kubayeva, a silver medalist of the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in 2017 in this sport.
