The current champion of the country "Denizchi" became the sole leader of the Futsal Super League of Turkmenistan, defeating "Kopetdag" in the 23rd round - 4:2.
The game took place in the Olympic village of Ashgabat, where the matches of the final stage of the national championship are held.
"Kopetdag" and "Denizchi" met three times before. In the first two meetings, draws were recorded, respectively - 3:3 and 0:0. In the third match, Kopetdag won - 2:1.
The fourth match of contenders for the championship was held in no less stubborn struggle.
From the first minutes "Kopetdag" unleashed a flurry of attacks on the opponent's goal. Having withstood the initial onslaught of the vice-champion, "Denizchi" leveled the game, and soon a long-range accurate shot by Abdulla Nursakhedov cooled the attacking ardor of the team of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan. Wards of Yakub Ovezov took the lead 1:0, and a little later they increased the advantage to two goals after a brilliant blow to the “nine” by Kirill Charyev.
Before the break, Kopetdag, thanks to the efforts of Rovshan Orazmukhamedov, scored one goal.
The second half went the same way as the first. Kopetdag also began to play actively, but soon conceded a goal after Maksat Soltanov's aimed shot.
Losing two goals twice in the course of the meeting, Akhmed Kervenov's wards did not give up and again reduced the gap in the score to a minimum - 2:3. 3 minutes before the end of the match, hoping to get away from the defeat, Kopetdag replaced the goalkeeper with the fifth field player. But this did not bring success to the vice-champion. In one of the attacks, Maksat Soltanov intercepted the ball and sent it into the opponent's empty net, chalking up a double and putting an end to the match.
After this victory, the team of the International Sea Port of Turkmenbashi has 60 points. Kopetdag has 3 points less. Closes the top three with 47 points "Senagatbank", which took over TKNPZ - 5:2. Two points behind the third place are Gumrukchi, who defeated Akhal - 9:1.
In one more match of the 23rd round, Superleague debutant "Dashoguz" outplayed "Milli goshun" - 5:4, keeping the fifth line of the tournament table with 21 points.
In the 24th round of the Futsal Super League of Turkmenistan will play: TKNPZ - "Milli Goshun", "Ahal" - "Senagatbank", "Dashoguz" - "Kopetdag" and "Denizchi" - "Gumrukchi".
