Ceremonial event on occasion of award of «Garaşsyz Türkmenistana bolan beýik söygüsi üçin» order to Fahriya Aliyeva gathered the Leader of the National Parliament, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers for Culture, representatives of the Ministry of Culture, political parties, non-governmental organizations, troupes of leading theatres of the country, cultural workers and art masters, mass media, faculties and students of profile educational institutions.
The participants, among which there were chairperson of the Mejlis A. Nurberdiyeva, Vice-premier G. Mammedova, Chairman of the Democratic Party K. Babayev, People’s Author of Turkmenistan, Turkmenistan Hero Gozel Shaguliyeva, Director of the Main Drama Theatre, People’s Artist of Turkmenistan K. Ashyrov, People’s Artist of Turkmenistan O. Abbasova and many others, mentioned that to revive and multiply the spirit of art among the people, stimulate development of national art are the main idea that is laid in the basis of cultural strategy, in which Head of the State Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov participate personally not only patronizing actual projects but also initiating them and, supporting implementation of creative concepts.
It became good tradition in our country to award honoured titles to personnel of this sphere, who distinguished by honest work, talent and creative activity. Current congratulations are not just for actress but for the master of local theatre art Fahriya Aliyeva who remembered by the spectators with her performance in such plays as “Othello”, “Zohre and Tahir”, “Elwan ýaglykly serwim”, “The Inspector General”, “The Bride Has Come”, “Brides”, “King Lear”, “Japbaks” and many other. She embodied plenty of bright images in the movies made by Turkmen filmmakers and became the classics of modern Turkmen cinema art. These are “When the Woman Saddle the Horse”, “Cunning of Old Ashyr” and many others. In 1955, the coryphaeus of Turkmen theatre stage was awarded with title “Honoured Artist of Turkmenistan” and in 1974 with “People’s Artist of Turkmenistan”.
During the ceremony, the video about many years of work of outstanding actress, who created whole gallery of images at the state and in cinema for 65 years of work and gained sincere love of the people, was demonstrated.
