According to the results of the 2022, the employees of the agricultural complex "Buýan" (Solodka) in the Lebap velayat prepared about 19 thousand tons of finished products.

This became known from the message of the Ministry of health and medical industry of Turkmenistan of Turkmenistan, under the auspices of which the main production work is carried out.

Last year, the enterprise produced 2,963 tons of cleaned and packaged products, which exceeded the plan.

It should be noted that out of the total number of licorice root produced, 610 tons were root extract and more than 680 tons of dried and the same amount in the form of syrup.

Licorice has been known to doctors since antiquity, and its most useful part is the root. It is used not only in medicine, but also in cosmetology, confectionery, due to the unique composition of its components. Buýan's products are in great demand both in the domestic and international markets. Today, the root extract is exported to China, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Serbia and other countries.

Licorice root is one of our national treasures growing on Turkmen soil.
