The efforts of the shepherds and livestock breeders of Lebap velayat to increase the number of small cattle are giving positive results. Just like last year, livestock breeders in the eastern region of the country successfully completed the season this year and managed to get 73,772 lambs and 74,708 goats, fulfilling the plan ahead of schedule. It should be noted that five livestock farms of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan, located in the velayat, despite the cold winter, were well prepared. At the same time, early warming, early maturation and abundance of grass in pastures this year contribute to the healthy growth of lambs and goats.

It is safe to say that the livestock farms "Serdar" of Charjew etrap, "Garagum" of Halach etrap and "Jeýhun" of Sayat etrap have achieved success in animal husbandry. To achieve high results, purposeful efforts are being made by the livestock farms "Tallymerjen" of Hojambaz etrap and "Köýtendag" of Koytendag etrap. Camel-breeding farms of the velayat have also achieved success. They managed to successfully fulfill the plan, and this season to increase the livestock to 467 camels. The young offspring is under the constant supervision of veterinarians. The labor achievements achieved by the livestock breeders of the velayat are the results of the organized work of livestock specialists, as well as the purposeful work of enterprises.
