A great gift for lovers of oriental music was prepared by students of the variety orchestra of the Turkmen National Conservatory named after M. Kuliyeva.

On the 22nd of April, at 17:00 and 19:00, the concerts «Magic of the East» will be held at the «Vatan» Cinema and Concert Centre.

Soloists Leyli Mammedova, Dovran Moshshiyev and many others will perform hits from the repertoire of Turkish pop stars Tarkan and Ibragim Tatlyses, as well as will delight with songs of famous Turkmen performers Akmuhammet Saparov and Atabay Charygulyyev.

«The purpose of our concert is to give a good mood and charge the listeners with a lot of positive emotions», says Maysa Mammetjumayeva, artistic director and conductor of the variety orchestra. - The program will feature recognizable and incendiary songs representing the musical culture of the neighbouring countries of Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Iran, Turkey and Tajikistan.

Turkmenistan is a multinational country. Here they love and listen to the music of neighbouring friendly peoples. And if famous musical compositions are studied at the conservatory, then students of choreographic schools master the national dances of the fraternal states.

In order to fully convey the flavour and diversity of the Eastern peoples, students of the Turkmen State Special Music School named after Danatar Ovezov prepared dance numbers, which will undoubtedly become an adornment of the concert program.
