Regular session of the Central Committee for Elections and Referendums in Turkmenistan was held under preparation to the forthcoming Presidential elections.

The registration of the candidates nominated by the Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Agrarian Party and initiative group of the citizens for the position of the President of Turkmenistan was the main agenda of the session.

The candidates are Deputy Chairman of the State Association of Food Industry Maksat Kovusovich Annanepesov, President of Joint Stock Commercial Bank “Rysgal”, Deputy of the Mejlis Bekmyrat Sahetmyradovich Atalyiev, Chairman of Mary Regional Committee of the Agrarian Party Durdygylych Orazov. The candidates were presented with relative certificates.

Further, the schedule of the meetings of the candidates for the post of the president of Turkmenistan with the electorate as well as their appearance on television were discussed in the session.

The equal opportunities for the meetings with the electorate, public speeches at the pre-election sessions and meetings as well as in mass media will be given to all candidates.
