I am very happy that I have visited Turkmenistan. This was stated by the President of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) Gianni Infantino, sharing with journalists his impressions of his first visit to Turkmenistan as part of a tour of the countries of Central Asia.

A brief interview took place after a visit to the International Akhal-Teke Equestrian Complex, where the head of FIFA observed with admiration the performance of the Turkmen horsemen of the famous group of national equestrian games «Galkynysh».

“Turkmenistan never ceases to amaze me. I saw the truly heavenly beauty of the Akhal-Teke horses and the performance was also remarkable. Such moments happen only once in a lifetime. I am very happy that I had the opportunity to visit your country and to see the beauty of Akhal-Teke horses in the equestrian complex”, - said Infantino.

The head of the largest international football organization, which includes 211 national associations, noted that it was a great honor for him to receive as a gift a book by the National Leader of the Turkmen People Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov about beautiful horses, which are a symbol of Turkmenistan.

«The book is called «Horse - a symbol of loyalty and happiness», and I have seen it firsthand. Now I know what a blessing it is to have such horses! I believe that this book is of great interest not only for horse breeders, but also for anyone who takes it in their hands.
