Important political event – the Elections of the President of Turkmenistan will be held in our country on February 12 of the next year! According to the Constitution and Electoral Code of Turkmenistan, the elections will be held on alternative basis under the principles of the democracy, transparency and publicity with equal rights for all candidates.
The Main Law of Turkmenistan in new edition was adopted during the session of the Council of the Elders in 2016. The Constitution was amended taking into account the proposals received from the people, political parties and non-governmental organizations.
All of us faces responsible objectives for implantation of national programmes, which are aimed at improvement of economic power of the country. Every citizen feels the outcomes of realization of these programmes for provision of the progress of our state in everyday life.
Social and living conditions of the population of rural areas, settlements, cities, etraps and etrap centres were fundamentally changed. Hundreds of social and cultural facilities were built and new production powers were put into operation in industrial branch.
Owing to this, new employments and conditions for work of the citizens in high technological production enterprises were established in order for people to make deserving contribution to dynamic development of the country. The reforms give positive results in economy, politics, culture, foreign economic relations and in all branches of national economy.
I would like to express sincere gratitude to the members of the initiative group, which nominated me as a candidate for Presidential Elections as well as to the members of the Central Electoral Commission.
Taking the opportunity, I congratulate the President of Turkmenistan, all candidates and people of the country with coming New Year! I wish everybody successes. Let 2017 be successful and prosperous for all!
