Number 123 will be used to call the emergency services of the first «smart» city in Turkmenistan - Arkadag.

This decision was made as a result of a working trip of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the city of Arkadag.

During the trip, Hero-Arkadag visited the City Communications Department, where he got acquainted with the ongoing work on the digitalization of communication systems and talked with the Department's specialists.

Speaking about the importance and possibilities of the digital system for the functioning of various services of the city, the National Leader of the Turkmen people emphasized that modern technologies should be used effectively and the work on their implementation should be accelerated, giving some advice.

In turn, the specialists expressed their gratitude to the Hero-Arkadag for the excellent working conditions created thanks to his efforts, and assured that they would make every effort to successfully complete the work entrusted to them.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people suggested using the 123 service in emergency situations, this number will be used for the first time in the city of Arkadag.

Service number 123 will accept customer requests by phone, process them and transfer them to their intended purpose - to the gas, fire safety and ambulance services, and organize emergency work. In this way, its activities will be aimed at preventing disasters and emergency situations.

The introduction of this system in residential buildings and other organizations will ensure a calm and happy life for the population, since the digital system will allow you to control everything that happens. This is another evidence that the well-being and security of every person is in the centre of attention of the state.
