"GA" CorrespondentThe national teams of Indonesia and Taiwan became rivals for the team of Turkmenistan following the results of the draw for the qualifying tournament of the youth (under 23) Asian Cup 2024 football held today in the capital of Malaysia.

Before it began, 43 teams were divided into four uterine groups. Turkmenistan, following the results of the last Asian Cup 2022, where our team achieved historic success - for the first time made it to the quarterfinals, together with Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, Japan, Australia, the Republic of Korea, Iraq, Vietnam, Thailand, Jordan and the United Arab Emirates, was in the first basket.

The teams included in it were divided into 11 qualifying groups, the matches in which will be held from 4 to 12 September 2023 centrally in 11 countries. Turkmenistan ended up in Group K with the teams of Indonesia and Taiwan. Games in this group will be held in Indonesia.

The composition of the remaining qualifying groups:

"A": Jordan (group host), Syria, Oman, Brunei.

"B": Republic of Korea (group host), Myanmar, Kyrgyzstan, Qatar.

"C": Vietnam (group host), Singapore, Yemen, Guam.

"D": Japan, Bahrain (group host), Palestine, Pakistan.

"E": Uzbekistan (group host), Iran, Hong Kong, Afghanistan.

"F": Iraq, Kuwait (group host), East Timor, Macau.

"G": UAE, India, Maldives, China (group host).

"H": Thailand (group host), Malaysia, Bangladesh, Philippines.

"I": Australia, Tajikistan (group host), Laos, North Korea.

"J": Saudi Arabia (group host), Cambodia, Lebanon, Mongolia.

The group winners, as well as the four best teams among the runners-up, will receive tickets to the final of the 2024 Asian Cup, which will be held next year in Qatar. The youth team of Qatar, as the host, directly qualified for the final stage of the tournament.
