Rice farmers in the northern region of Turkmenistan are close to the end of the sowing campaign. The largest producers of the valuable crop here are specialized farms of Saparmurat Turkmenbashi etrap: Daihan Association "S.A.Nyýazov" with sowing area of four thousand seven hundred and fifty hectares and Daihan Association "27 Oktyabr", where three thousand three hundred and fifty hectares are allocated for rice. The basis of the sowing material this year were rice varieties "Nöküs-2" and "Bereket" distinguished by high yield, resistance to diseases and excellent taste. A large number of modern specialized agricultural machinery was involved in the sowing campaign, all the necessary organizational measures were taken in a timely manner in order to ensure high rates of sowing work and the coordinated work of all the structures involved in the production of pearl grains.

Rice farmers in the northern region of the country annually make a high contribution to the saturation of the domestic market with high-quality products. Thanks to state investments, all necessary conditions for successful production of valuable raw materials have been created in Dashoguz velayat, including a full production cycle for its cultivation and deep processing. For this purpose, a high-tech rice purification facility has been built here , which now makes it possible to process the grown grain into final products in the immediate vicinity of the rice wedge.
