The capital's "Altyn Asyr" team won the Cup of the Football Federation of Turkmenistan by winning the tournament, which ended in Ashgabat.

The honorary trophy was contested in a one-round competition by 6 major league clubs.

Before the final round, only two teams claimed the FFT Cup – "Altyn Asyr" and "Merv", which was 2 points behind the winner.

Before the face-to-face match, "Altyn Asyr" had four wins, beating "Akhal" 2-1, "Ashgabat" 3-0, "Shagadam" from Turkmenbashi 2-0 and "Energetik" from Mary 4-0. "Merv" won against "Ashgabat" – 4:1, "Shagadam" – 3:1, "Energetik" – 2:1 and played to a 2-2 draw with "Akhal".

In the decisive match, which took place at the "Sport Toplumy " stadium in the Buzmein etrap of the capital, "Altyn Asyr " was also satisfied with a draw to win the tournament. However, the vice-champion of Turkmenistan did not play to hold a draw and hit the opponent's goal before the half-time. Didar Didarov did it in the 40th minute. "Merv" was unable to play the remaining time before the final whistle.

With five wins out of five, "Altyn Asyr" won the Football Federation Cup of Turkmenistan for the first time. Yazguly Khojageldiyev, Honored Coach of Turkmenistan, led the team of the agency "Turkmenaragatnashyk" to this success.

"Merv" took the second place with 10 points. "Shagadam" closed the top three winners with 9 points.

"Akhal", the current champion of Turkmenistan, finished in fourth position with 7 points.

In the fight for the fifth place, "Ashgabat", due to accurate strikes by Sohbet Allanurov (43rd minute from the penalty spot) and Rovshen Bayliyev (84th), won 2-0 against "Energetik", which closed the standings.
