Today, the opening ceremony of the TURKSOY Culture Week was held at the National Music and Drama Theatre of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly. This was another confirmation of the dynamic development of our country's cooperation with interested states in various directions, including culture, which is aimed at strengthening global peace and activating of friendly relations between the peoples.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent a congratulatory address to the participants of the opening ceremony of the Week of Culture of the Turkic States, which emphasizes that large–scale work is being carried out in Turkmenistan to intensify cultural cooperation with the International Organization of Turkic Culture - TURKSOY. Currently, cultural ties between Turkic-speaking countries are growing thanks to TURKSOY.

On June 26, Magtymguly Turkmen State University will host the International Scientific Conference "Era of Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State and Magtymguly Pyragy", which will be attended by the Secretary General of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY), admirers of Magtymguly's creativity, figures of science and culture, writers and journalists from Azerbaijan, Turkey, China, Republic of Korea, Kyrgyzstan, India, Uzbekistan, Iraq, Algeria, Iran, Romania, Belarus, Georgia, Turkmenistan and other countries.

A cultural program was prepared for guests, including sightseeing tours of the capital and the city of Arkadag, as well as a visit to the State Museum of the State Cultural Center.

In addition, creative figures of Turkic-speaking states will take part in the events held in our country in the framework of the Week of Culture-2023 and timed to the widely celebrated Day of Culture and Art Workers, as well as the poetry of Magtymguly Pyragy.

Therefore, events of this scale will give a new impetus to the activation of interstate cooperation within the framework of TURKSOY, which will contribute to the further development of the rich Turkic culture.
