IV International Conference “Turkmen Horse and Art of World Horse Breeding” brought together the representatives of 34 world countries in Ashgabat.
The forum organized by the Turkmen Atlary State Association, a number of ministries and departments of the agro-industrial sector of the country was held in the conference hall of the Ministry of Agriculture. The heads of ministries and departments of Turkmenistan, Turkmen and foreign scientists, horse breeders, biologists, historians, ethnographers, sportsmen, trainers and journalists, as well as specialists of the scientific and research institutes, teachers and students of the higher educational institutions of the country attended the solemn ceremony of opening the forum.
The Turkmen specialists and prominent foreign scientists and horse breeders from Russia, the United States, Sweden, Ukraine, Uruguay and other countries presented their reports on such topics as the history, modern achievements and the prospects of Ahalteke horse breeding.
