Turkmen racers participate in the International Silk Way Rally

Teams from Turkmenistan are participating in the 13th edition of the International Silk Way Rally, which started in Kazan.

According to the official website of the rally, Merdan Toilyev, Shohrat Toilyev, Maksatmyrat Danatarov, Didar Orazmedov, Begench Annaev, Mukhametmyrat Gurbanov (Nissan Patrol), Suleyman Annammedov and Parahat Garlyev (Toyota LC 200) participate on behalf of the Turkmenistan Automobile Sports Federation.

The race route runs through 13 regions of Russia. In the fight for "White Tiger" - the main prize of the competition, the participants will have to go 5,241 kilometers of distance, including high-speed sections of 2.3 thousand kilometers.

"We have done everything to make the race memorable for the participants for a lifetime. There will be a lot of non-standard solutions," said Vladimir Chagin, the head of the Silk Way Rally, seven-time winner of the Dakar Rally.

Crews from Russia, Belarus, China, France, Italy, Switzerland, Serbia, Israel, Cyprus, Albania, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and other countries also take part in the rally, which is one of the largest in Eurasia.

Racers will finish on Vasilevsky Spusk near the walls of the Moscow Kremlin.

The thirteenth edition of the International Silk Way Rally will be a new step in the development of the largest rally-raid competition project in Eurasia. Every year the platform expands and today the Silk Way series includes, in addition to the International Snowmobile Rally "Snow Trail", Alpha Race competitions and the three-day "Silk Way".
