The State Museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan has simultaneously launched two personal exhibitions of the works of Chary Amangeldyev, the People's Artist of Turkmenistan, and Amanmukhammet Khydyrov, Honored Art Worker of Turkmenistan.

Why the museum's specialists decided to combine both exhibitions in one hall becomes clear after you fall under the charm of the talent of the painter and sculptor.

The difference in the age of 10 years did not prevent the two artists from looking at the world at the same point of view, conveying their perception in their works.

Chary Amangeldyev was well known to painting admirers as the author of pieces, mostly made in dark and even black tones.

Nevertheless, the organizers of the exhibition managed to choose optimistic works from the rich heritage of the artist.

One of them is the "Runway", on which a mini-airfield is depicted among the barchans of the desert. A huge radar gives the picture a fantastic shade. The shepherd is surprised to see the objects of technological progress for the first time.

Among the bright paintings is the work "Educational Program", with which the exhibition opened. Young people in fancy clothes are rushing to classes to eradicate illiteracy. The work resembles a poster with its dynamism, bright colors and the power of impact.

However, Chary Amangeldyev is presented more as a portraitist at the personal exhibition. The portraits show the individual style of the artist.

His favorite technique is painting with clearly distinguishable brushstrokes, which were widely used in neo-Impressionism. This technique gives the portraits drama, emotional saturation.

The heroes of the paintings by Chary Amangeldyev are bright personalities - bakhshi, artists and people of science. Among the works exhibited at the exposition is "Portrait of Academician Boris Smirnov". A brilliant Turkmen neurosurgeon turned out to be a good organizer: during the fatal Ashgabat earthquake, without losing a minute, he deployed an open-air operating room in the central square of the city and thereby saved many lives of the injured Ashgabat residents. Chary Amangeldyev is the only artist who captured the image of this man on the canvas.

Unfortunately, we had to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the artist without him.

Amanmukhammet Khydyrov is a graduate of the Strogonov Moscow State Academy of Art and Industry, as well as the Chary Amangeldyev, treats folk musicians with reverence. Therefore, most of the sculptures on display are dedicated to Bakhshi.

Amanmukhammet Khydyrov gives his heroes a soft charm. His figurines, made of wood, radiate warmth and kindness.

The sculpture "Sage" is especially impressive. For a long time, visitors to the exhibition lingered near the works - "Meeting" and "Continuity".

At the opening of the exhibition, his students from the Turkmen State Art School came to congratulate Amanmukhammet Khydyrov, they emphasized the versatility of their khalipa's talent.

Admirers of the talent of the sculptor Khydyrov also recalled that before, he opened each of his exhibitions by reading a new author's poem.
