Football players of "Arkadag" held the first international friendly match in its history at a training camp in Bulgaria. In the city of Bansko, they drew 1-1 with the "Besa Doberdoll" team, playing in the second division of Northern Macedonia.

As part of the Turkmen team, Didar Durdyev, the leader in the dispute between the scorers of the Turkmenistan 2023 football championship, scored a goal.

"Arkadag" football club was founded in April of this year. In the championship and the Cup of Turkmenistan, it represents the city of the same name of national significance. After the first round, "Arkadag" confidently leads in the national championship, having a one hundred percent indicator – 24 points in 8 games. And in the Cup of the country, the team reached the semifinals, where it will play with "Altyn Asyr" from Ashgabat, the finalist of the 2018 AFC Cup and the current vice-champion of Turkmenistan.

The training camp in Bulgaria of the football club "Arkadag" in preparation for the second round of the championship of Turkmenistan will last until August 8. As part of it, the team plans to hold several more control meetings with different opponents.
