Capital Mekan Palace hosted the meeting of the eelectorate with candidate for the post of the President of Turkmenistan, Deputy Hyakim of Mary Velayat Jumanazar Annayev.
Having presented the biography of J. Annayev, the official representative of the candidate characterized him as responsible person, experienced leader who aims at further consolidation of economic power of the Motherland and prosperity of Turkmen people.
After, the floor was given to the candidate for the highest government post. J. Annayev presented his electoral programme. Giving utterance to its main provisions, he highlighted that in case of his election as President of Turkmenistan he intends to steadily follow the strategy of large-scale social and economic reforms aimed at improvement of life level of Turkmen people. The course of consolidation of democratic and legal basis of the state will be also continued.
During the dialog with audience, the candidate answered the questions of the electorate, many of which touched upon the subject of agricultural reforms. The aspirant for the highest government position noted that special attention to be paid to fundamental changes in agricultural sector.
The measures aimed at improvement of land tenure and land reclamation, active implementation of modern technologies, encouragement of farmers’ interest in the work results are important. The candidate also spoke on the necessity of further development of applied studies of agrarian science and comprehensive support of the scientists involved in this important sphere.
Answering the questions of the constituents, J. Annayev defined certain provisions of his programme, in particular, the diversification of fuel and energy complex, transport sphere, education reforms, medicine, pensions and development of private entrepreneurship.
During the meeting, the voters also expressed the interest in such subjects as increase of production powers of textile industry of the country and implementation of advanced scientific and technical achievements to production.
