President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the leadership of the fuel and energy complex of the country to start preparations for uninterrupted supply of natural gas to consumers in winter. The head of state said this at a government meeting via video link dedicated to the results of seven months of 2023.

"Taking into account the growing demand for natural gas in the winter period, preparatory work should be started to ensure uninterrupted supply of citizens, large industrial enterprises, power plants and foreign consumers with "blue fuel," President Serdar Berdimuhamedov said.

The Head of State also drew the attention of the fuel and energy sector management to the importance of taking measures to increase the production of liquefied gas and polypropylene. At the same time, emphasis was placed on the need to implement practical steps to increase oil production.
