A regular meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission for the coordination of the "Single Window for export-import operations" system was held.

According to the website of the Customs Department of Turkmenistan, the meeting was held with the participation of representatives of ministries, departments and public organizations that are part of the commission.

The participants got acquainted with the progress made by the authorized bodies in the implementation of the "Single Window" system and outlined further steps to enhance intersectoral cooperation in this area.

In this regard, specialists of the Ministry of Adalat of Turkmenistan and the agency "Turkmenaragatnashyk" of the Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan were invited.

The system implies the formation of a simplified system for the implementation of export-import and transit procedures in the country, which allows participants in foreign economic activity to submit standard information and documents to the relevant authorized bodies.

Achievement of these goals will improve the business climate in Turkmenistan and raise the level of the country’s competitiveness on the world markets.
