A wide range of issues of interaction between customs and business, increasing foreign trade, current trends in the development of the country's customs service were discussed at a meeting in Mary velayat customs. According to the press service of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan, the meeting was attended by representatives of customs and a number of other ministries and departments, as well as private entrepreneurs.

The main topic of discussion was the implementation of state programs to increase exports and import substitution in the country and the role of entrepreneurship in the modernization of sectors of the national economic complex, increasing the volume and expanding the range of high-quality, competitive products made from local raw materials.

Representatives of the State Customs Service made a report on the development of the domestic customs system and the systematic improvement of its legal framework. In this regard, legal acts, aimed at supporting exports and providing simplifications and benefits for exporters, were presented.

The participants of the meeting were also shown a video about the importance of using digital technologies in customs, which makes it possible to speed up the process of providing services, contributes to the development of trade and economic relations and international trade.
