Forum of Creative and Scientific Intelligentsia of the CIS Member States has started in Bishkek

On September 12, the XVI Forum of Creative and Scientific Intelligentsia of the member countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States on the theme "Through the interaction of cultures to the Commonwealth and Peace" began its work in the capital of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Representatives of the intellectual and creative elite of the CIS countries, including Turkmenistan, take part in the current large-scale event organized with the support of the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation, which is a unique platform for promoting progressive ideas and developing interethnic dialogue.

Our country, being by virtue of its neutral status an associate member of the Commonwealth of Independent States, under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, has consistently advocates constructive dialogue with the CIS states both in bilateral and multilateral formats and builds its relations on the basis of goodwill, historically established traditions of friendship, respect for each other's interests, principles of equal open dialogue and mutually beneficial long-term partnership. At the same time, Turkmenistan is actively developing cultural diplomacy, which is considered an important tool in interstate relations, and like no other mechanism is able to work to strengthen contacts between our fraternal peoples.

Panel discussions will be held over two days on such topics as "2023: The Year of the Russian Language as the Language of Interethnic Communication in the CIS", "Development of the Dialogue of Cultures of the CIS Countries", "Unified Scientific and Educational Space of the Commonwealth", "Youth of the Commonwealth Countries in Volunteer Initiatives", "Chingiz Aitmatov and Modernity", as well as a number of cultural events.
