On the eve of the 32nd anniversary of the country's independence, the 11th new exploration well was discovered at the Uzynada oil and gas field and produced its first production. The Uzynada deposit belongs to the Esenguly etrap of the Balkan velayat, which is 74 kilometers from the city of Balkanabat.
Back in 2015, the mining divisions of the SC «Türkmennebit» began drilling a new well, which was successfully completed in April 2017. This well, commissioned by Balkan oil workers, now provides an abundant flow of fuel raw materials and occupies a worthy place in the development of the oil and gas industry.
It is worth noting that the production of an industrially significant stream of hydrocarbons from the lower red seams, 6734-6736 meters deep, will make it possible to fully utilise the reserves of the eastern part of the mine.
The new well will be transferred to the «Türkmennebit» oil and gas producing concern and will be of great importance in the successful implementation of the national program for the development of the country’s oil and gas industry for the period until 2030.
