On awarding the President of Turkmenistan Berdimuhamedov Serdar Gurbangulyevich the title of Hero of Turkmenistan
For his enormous personal contribution to strengthening the foundations of the national independence of Turkmenistan, the principles of neutrality of Turkmenistan in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of a powerful state, for particularly outstanding services to the state and society in the dynamic development of our democratic, legal and secular state by putting forward new initiatives, improving political and social -economic transformations in a new period of development of our country, democratisation of the life of our country, the implementation of positive changes that ensure a dramatic change in the appearance of our native Fatherland in a new era, respect for the older generation in accordance with the principles inherited from our ancestors, educating youth in the spirit of love and devotion to the Motherland, strengthening the international authority of our Motherland with initiatives aimed at strengthening cooperation, friendship and brotherhood between states and peoples in the name of development and peace, for services in strengthening the unshakable pillar of statehood founded by our Hero Arkadag, continuing the meaningful principles of the new era, for consistent and purposeful activities carried out to enhance the glory and dignity of our dear Fatherland, as well as in connection with the celebration of the 32nd anniversary of the independence of Turkmenistan, in accordance with paragraph 9 of Article 81 of the Constitution of Turkmenistan, the Mejlis of Turkmenistan d e c i d e s:
To award the President of Turkmenistan Berdimuhamedov Serdar Gurbangulyevich the highest degree of distinction - the title of Hero of Turkmenistan with the presentation of the gold sign «Altyn Aý».
