Heads of local administration, the elders and youth, representative of non-governmental organizations, working groups of enterprises and mass media took part in the meeting with candidate for the post of the President of Turkmenistan, Chairman of Mary Velayat Committee of the Agrarian Party Durdygylych Orazov.

Official representative of the candidate introduced the biography D. Orazov, who was nominated by the Agrarian Party. Having characterized the candidate as initiative and business-like leader, who demonstrated organizational skills and professionalism in solution of assigned objectives, the representative highlighted personal qualities of the aspirant for the highest government position.

Stating the provisions of his election programme, the candidate paid special attention to the measures for dynamic growth of national economy by further works for modernization, improvement of export capabilities of oil, gas and energy branches and implementation of innovative technologies into different spheres.

Improvement of life level of the population, including establishment of modern social and economic infrastructure throughout Turkmenistan will remain in the focus. Dedicated support will be rendered to improvement of science, education, public health and culture.

Further development of agricultural complex and rural areas, provision of food security, industrial processing of agricultural product as well as increase of private sector are among topical issues.

During the conversation with the audience, the candidate answered the questions of the participants, many of which touched upon the subject of rapid industrial development of the velayats and improvement of social and living conditions of the population.
