This year, Lebap velayat harvested a bountiful harvest of rice, one of the main food crops of Turkmenistan. Currently, the conservation of this important food crop is in its final stages.

This year, farmers will sow 10 thousand 200 hectares of rice per hectare for the future harvest; it is planned to harvest 47 thousand 400 tons of rice. The Sayat, Charjevs and Danev etraps, which are the largest rice-growing regions of the velayat, plan to make the greatest contribution in this regard.

Today, rice farmers are carrying out technical inspection of combines that will be used for rice harvesting, and repairing rice collection points. These measures provide confidence that rice farmers will have a successful season and achieve their desired goals.
