These days, the Uzexpocentre in Tashkent is hosting the 13th international exhibition «Plastics Industry - Plastex Uzbekistan 2023», in which over 200 companies from seven countries, including Turkmenistan, are taking part.

The exhibition focuses on the results of developments and research in the field of plastics, new types of products and equipment, production and processing technologies, as well as the latest trends in the development of the polymer market.

The exhibition also presents the technological chain of plastic production and processing - from raw materials to finished materials.

Turkmenistan has a rich raw material base for the development of the plastics industry and the production of plastic products for various purposes.

Local companies operating in this segment produce a variety of products for both domestic and foreign markets.

One of these large manufacturers is the Economic Company «DERÝAPLASTIK», which has been specializing in the production of high-quality plastic pipes, fittings, household goods and electrical cables for 15 years.

A year ago, another successful enterprise was created in Turkmenabat, Lebap velayat - the Economic Society «Nur Plastik», which produces a wide range of polyethylene, polypropylene and plastic products, some of which are imported to order.
