Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Turkmenistan entered the 20th edition of the world ranking of universities THE World University Rankings-2024 with the status of “reporter”.

Popular and authoritative worldwide ranking of World University Rankings dates back to 2004 and is compiled annually published by the British organization Times Higher Education (THE). In world ranking ranks the best universities in the world, efficiency and the success of which is assessed by international experts.

The results of universities are determined on the basis of 18 performance indicators, which are grouped into five leading areas of activity higher education institutions: teaching, quality of research, research environment, international perspectives and industry.

New ones join the global university rankings every year participants. The 20th edition of THE World rating published recently University Rankings 2024 included 1904 universities from 108 countries.

Universities of Turkmenistan actively participate and increasingly take positions in THE ratings, increasing our authority and the authority of our state on the world stage. The desire for active development, success and contributes to achieving the highest performance indicators solving one of the main tasks of national education in joining the country's universities to the number of leading higher schools in the world.
