Turkmen State Publishing Service participates in XXIV Minsk International Book Fair opend on February 8 in the capital of Belarus.
Publisher from more than 30 countries presented their production in the exhibition. The display of Turkmenistan attract the attention of professionals of the branch and the visitors of the exposition by high quality polygraph make of literature, scientific and journalistic issues, photo albums and other printing production.
New books of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, which were published in 2016 – “Tea is a Remedy and Inspiration” and “Music of Peace, Music of Friendship and Brotherhood” as well as series of issues dedicated to Turkmen folklore and brightly illustrated child books rose increased interest of the visitors.
Samples of modern editorial and printing equipment were presented at the exhibition. The programme of the event, which will last until February 12, includes presentation of new books, meetings with the authors and publishers, seminars and round table sessions. 500 years anniversary of Belarusian book printing and 135th anniversary of Yanka Kupala and Yakub Kolas were the main subjects of the forum in this year. The participation in the forum gives opportunity not only to demonstrate the success of national book publishing but also to familiarize with modern trends in the development of this sphere as well as to establish the contacts with potential partners.
