In Dashoguz velayat, forage is being harvested at a high rate. To date, tens of thousands of tons of them have been stored here, which makes it possible to complete a responsible campaign on time.

The farmers of the Kunya-Urgench, Akdepe, Boldumsaz etraps are close to fulfilling the planned task. About six thousand tons of feed from the planned eight have already been prepared by the teams of two specialized livestock farms located in the Gerogly etrap and the Shavat etrap.

Local livestock breeders understand that the successful holding of the winter-stall period largely depends on the preparation of feed.

A sufficient supply of feed ensures the safety of animals in difficult weather conditions of the region and their reproduction.

Therefore, in velayat, special attention is paid to the organized harvesting of feed, the coordinated work of all the units involved in it.

There is also a sufficient number of necessary specialized equipment for mowing, collecting and targeted delivery of harvested feed to the wintering areas of the flocks.

It should be noted that animal husbandry, including transhumance, is one of the leading branches of agriculture in velayat.
