The main events of the Third Forum of International Cooperation «Belt and Road» (BRF) have ended in China, which, according to leading political scientists and representatives of various media outlets in the region who covered its work, has become a truly significant event of recent times.

Not only the scale of the countries participating in the forum was amazing, but also by deeply thought-out strategy for holding it.

In addition to the main official part of the event, in which heads of state and leaders of their countries took part, many related, but by no means secondary, forums were organized within the framework of the «Belt and Road» initiative.

At parallel additional forums, experts and guests from Beijing considered the most pressing issues that concern the population of the countries of the Asian continent.

Political scientists, experts and analysts focused on issues of political and diplomatic relations, trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian ties, climate problems and many others.

In addition to the fact that all these simultaneously taking place events were covered by representatives of the media, the organizers, namely the editorial board of the «Rénmín Rìbào» («People's Daily») newspaper, a special program of stay in the PRC was provided and organized especially for journalists and, of course, a discussion was prepared on one of the most important issues of the current stage of development of journalism - problems of cybersecurity and bringing reliable information to consumers.

In particular, the media cooperation forum «One Belt, One Road» was held in the capital of China, in which representatives of various media from more than 60 countries took part.

Turkmenistan was represented by the director of the editorial office of the electronic newspaper «Turkmenistan: Golden Age» Myrat Bekmyradov.

Media speakers at the forum emphasized that journalists play a significant role in promoting PRC’s «One Belt, One Road» initiatives.

Moreover, Chinese initiatives are in many ways consonant with and related to the plans and development of their neighbours in the region.

The words of those who emphasized the need to build capacity and improve skills to jointly address cybersecurity and information reliability issues were clear and relevant.

And for this, the exchange of opinions, experience and technologies for mutually beneficial cooperation, including within the framework of the «One Belt, One Road» initiative, is more important than ever.

During the forum of media representatives, a ceremony was held to award the most distinguished journalists for their publications and television and radio broadcasts related to the «One Belt and One Road» initiatives.

Also, a press tour was organized for representatives of the leading media in Eurasia, during which journalists got acquainted with the work of advanced enterprises and modern social and cultural facilities in Beijing, the twin city of the Turkmen Mary - Xi'an, as well as in Qingdao.
