The Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan and the Centre of Excellence in the Field of Cyber Security within the university held an online seminar on the topic «Analysis of cyber attacks and methods of struggling them».

The event was attended by leading specialists, teachers and students of the organizing university, the International Academy of Horse Breeding named after Aba Annayev, the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports, the Turkmen Agricultural Institute, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and other higher educational institutions of the country.

During the seminar, speeches were made by the head of the department of innovative information security technologies of the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan Nurguly Saryyev and the teacher of this department of the university Guvanch Shahanov. ITIT students Nazim Maksadov, a 2nd year student at the Faculty of Information Systems Security, and Muhammet Torayev, a 5th year student at the Faculty of Telecommunications, also presented reports on the topic of analyzing and countering cyber threats.

The meeting of the seminar participants continued with a thematic dialogue in the form of question and answer.

The main goal of the online seminar was to attract the attention of young people studying in educational institutions of our country to the targeted organization and use of cybersecurity measures.

The event provided an opportunity for specialists to jointly discuss priority tasks in the field of cybersecurity, exchange professional experience, fresh ideas in the field of education and upbringing of young people who own information security tools and are able to independently resist cyber threats in the modern digital environment.
