Some rules that minimize the likelihood of getting the flu

The cold season is approaching, bringing the period of colds and viral diseases. How do we treat the flu?

We begin to actively drink hot tea with lemon and honey, take more liquid, and this is not accidental. After all, this is exactly what our body requires. However, this number of potential patients includes people who could protect themselves to some extent, that is, they simply got vaccinated against the flu, but this is also not a panacea, because, as is known, strains of the influenza virus mutate, and vaccination against one type of strain will not save from others.

It is also important to know that cold-related diseases are caused not only by influenza viruses, but also by respiratory syncytial viruses, adenoviruses and some types of bacteria. So what to do in such a situation?

The most important is to try to keep a certain distance from people who are sick, consume as many vegetables and fruits as possible, diversify your diet, follow a day regimen, go to bed on time and get enough sleep, drink the required quantity of warm water and, of course, do physical exercises regularly.

Nature has taken good care of human health. It is rich in plants that can boost immunity to fight viruses and bacteria. We just have to be more attentive to nature and ourselves.

For example, it is very good to consume foods such as ginger, mint, lemon and honey. They contain large amounts of vitamins, minerals and other chemicals that increase the body’s ability to resist infectious diseases. Our traditional soup “unash” also helps well in fighting colds! It contains not only proteins, carbohydrates and lipids, but also capsaicin, an alkaloid found in red hot peppers. It is this that increases the body’s resistance to infections. All this sounds quite banal, but following such rules will still minimize the likelihood of contracting these contagious diseases, which can result in complications if treated incorrectly.

Don’t forget that if you have any health problems, you have to consult a doctor. It is the doctor who determines the cause of the disease and prescribes the correct treatment.
