In the capital at the Mukam Palace a festive concert in honour of Day of the national flag of Turkmenistan took place. In celebrations in honour of a sacred symbol of the nation a powerful spiritual message was put, it is of great importance for education of high civilisation and patriotism that found reflexion in the overture of celebratory action - a literary-musical patriotic composition on the basis of video series. On the large screen flies the green banner of the fatherland, major events of the epoch of power and happiness – the many-sided activity of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov were reflected.
The bright vigorous statement devoted to the theme of sports, especially actual in the context of the motto of this year - year of health and inspiration and preparations of our country for the Asian indoor and martial arts games -2017 became its logic continuation. Performance made with enthusiasm by children's creative groups, reflected our confidence that the green banner of the fatherland as a symbol of sports victories of independent Turkmenistan will be lifted at the largest sports forums of the planet.
The highlight of the celebratory action was underlined by performance of young soldiers: the soloist - winner of competition «Yanlan, diyarym!», and also participants of song-musical group «Merdana nesiller» the Central Officers' Club of the Ministry of Defence of the country and the military orchestra "Goreldeli".
The concert program included performances of famous musicians and performers of national songs, popular variety singers - winners of creative competitions held in our country, folklore groups, and famous choreographic ensembles. Among participants - the amateur creative groups established at high schools, ministries and departments and promoting familiarisation of broad masses of population with national culture and art, and also search of new talents.
On the stage of the Mukam Palace melodies of national and classical Turkmen music, modern songs of our native land, love and happiness sounded.
Traditionally at the end of the in concert folklore -dancing groups of velayats of the country performed the ancient Turkmen dance «kushdepdi», personifying unity of people, its creative inspiration.
