Specialists from the industry departments of the State Statistics Committee of Turkmenistan have familiarized themselves with the features of the recently developed software for the statistical business register (SBR).

The corresponding training was organized as part of the project "Strengthening the institutional, statistical, and information-technical capacity of the State Statistics Committee of Turkmenistan," which is being implemented by the State Statistics Committee of Turkmenistan in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme.

Participants have learned about the new functional capabilities of the software. Specifically, the new application allows for online submission of statistical reports for businesses and entrepreneurs, customization of statistical data parameters for agency specialists to facilitate efficient statistical monitoring and reporting. The developed application will simplify the process of registering legal entities, will provide access to data, and enable accelerated processing. The application will also allow for the submission of statistical forms in electronic format.

It is worth noting that with the help of this application, specialists from the State Statistics Committee of Turkmenistan have been able to independently create input tables for multiple forms of statistical reporting. Furthermore, recently added features will ensure accuracy, reliability, and consistency of the statistical data collected and processed by the software.

The project "Strengthening the institutional, statistical, and information-technical capacity of the employees of the State Statistics Committee of Turkmenistan" aims to enhance the capacity of the State Statistics Committee of Turkmenistan in preparing statistical reports to measure the progress of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
