Young ambassadors of the Sustainable Development Goals from Turkmenistan took part in the 18th UN Youth Conference on Climate Change, which was held in Dubai.

The event took place on the eve of the main conference - the annual conference of the parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, which will be held from the 30th of November to 12th of December in Dubai.

The UN Youth Conference on Climate Change was held with the participation of the official corps of youth organizations of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.

It brought together over a thousand young people from all over the world to discuss international climate policy. This year's conference focused on three main areas: policy documents, capacity building and professional development workshops.

As part of COY18, interactive events, seminars, and discussions were held. In his address to the conference, UN Genera -Secretary Antonio Guterres noted that youth are at the forefront of leading efforts to achieve climate justice.

A Global Youth Statement was adopted, bringing together the proposals of young people in the field of collective climate policy.
