Representatives of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan participated in the international exhibition "Halal Expo - 2023", held by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation as part of the World Halal Summit, which took place in Istanbul from November 23-26, 2023.

The "OIC Halal Expo" is the world's leading exhibition of Halal industry products, which annually brings together a wide professional audience: representatives of the business community, manufacturers and distributors, Halal industry specialists and specialized media personnel from many countries. Participation in the exhibition provides representatives of the halal sector with new opportunities to promote their services and products, as well as increase trade and investment in this sector.

The exhibition features leading global companies producing food products, food technology, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, textiles and more. The main exhibition categories include food, health and fitness, meat, poultry and seafood. There is also interest in the exhibition from sectors related to Islamic banking and halal tourism.

This year, the Istanbul Exhibition Center showcased halal products from around 500 companies from over 40 countries. "Halal Expo - 2023" allowed participants from Turkmenistan to show their potential, establish business contacts, and discuss cooperation with countries engaged in halal product exports worldwide.
