Festive concerts at the Turkmen National Conservatoire

The concert in the Big Hall started with “The Festive Rhapsody” by Andreu Babayev performed by orchestra of wind instruments conducted by Babadjan Hudayberdiyev.

The works by Turkmen composers Bayram Hudainazarov, Veli Mukhatov and Nura Mukhatov, as well as the world classical compositions, including “Mazurka” by Leonid Cherneysky, “Polka” by Isaac Dunaevsky, “Humoresque” by Nikolai Golikov, “Dance with Sabers” by Aram Khachaturian and others were performed during the concert.

The concert finished with the composition “Gel, Turkmenistana” by Nury Muhatov performed by the orchestra conducted by Rahim Nuryyev.

The chamber concert was arranged in the Small Hall in Turkmen National Conservatoire. Three teachers of the Department of Music and Singing – Meylis Muratgeldiyev, Rovshan Bayramov and Begench Gayipov performed popular compositions to the accompaniment of Maya Beymanova.

The concert started the song “How young we were” by Alexandra Pakhmutova performed by Begench Gayipov. Rovshan Bayramov performed Sergei Rachmaninov's romance “The young gypsy”. From the songs performed by Meylis Muratgeldiyev, the audience greeted the “Favorite eyes” by Andrei Babayev with particular warmth. A pleasant surprise was the two final numbers performed by the trio of teachers - the song “I met a girl” by Andrei Babaev and “O solo mio”.

Representatives of the Department of Solo Singing - Mamedmurat Annamuradov, Amangeldy Amanov, Kurt Nazarov performed famous arias from the operas by Turkmen and European composers to the accompaniment of Vladimir Mkrtumov, Igor Dzhorakulov and Stella Faramazova. ‘Golden baritone’ of Turkmenistan - People's Artist Atageldy Karyagdyyev completed the festive concert with the magnificent performance of the songs “Melody” by Alexandra Pakhmutova and “Thank you” by Arno Babajanyan.
