Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has held a working meeting via a digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahallyev, who supervises the agro-industrial complex, and the khyakims of the velayats to review the progress of work in the agricultural sector and regions of the country was.

The floor was first given to Akhal Velayat Khyakim R. Hojagulyev, who reported on the progress of the seasonal field campaigns.

As was reported, the treatment of wheat sown fields is under way, in particular, vegetative irrigation and application of mineral fertilizers. In addition, the necessary measures are taken to prepare for the upcoming cotton sowing, including lands plowing and checking the condition of machinery to be operated during spring agricultural works.

Particular attention in the region is paid to the issues related to proper operation of heating systems in residential buildings, schools and kindergartens, as well as trouble-free energy, gas and water supplies.

Everything necessary is done for the organized holding of New Year’s celebrations, including maintaining food abundance in retail outlets and timely payment of wages.

Having heard the report, and emphasizing the importance of compliance with agro0technical standards when carrying out seasonal field works, Head of State Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to keep under control the care for wheat fields in accordance with the established requirements, and the plowing of lands for the upcoming cotton sowing.

Then Balkan Velayat Khyakim H. Ashyrmyradov reported on the progress of agricultural campaigns.

As was reported, work is ongoing in the region as part of preparation for next year’s cotton crop to plow lands and repair machinery and equipment. At the same time, vegetation irrigation and application of mineral fertilizers in wheat sown fields of the velayat are in progress.

Furthermore, the khyakim reported on the steps being taken to celebrate the New Year’s Holiday up to the mark, including supplying markets and shops of the velayat with various types of food products, the trouble-free heating of social facilities and providing residents with electricity and natural gas, as well as paying wages within the established deadlines.

Summing up the report and emphasizing the importance of an integrated approach to carrying out agricultural work in accordance with agro-technical standards, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to ensure proper care for wheat crops and plowing lands allocated for the next year’s cotton sowing.

The working meeting via a digital system was continued with a report from Dashoguz Velayat Khyakim S. Soltanmyradov on the progress of agricultural campaigns in the northern region.

As was reported, works are under way in accordance with agro-technical standards to treat wheat sown fields, plow areas for the next year’s cotton crop, and prepare machinery and equipment to be operated in the spring campaign.

Moreover, events steps are taken to adequately celebrate the New Year’s Holiday. The markets and shops of the velayat are fully supplied with food products, the trouble-free operation of heating, energy, gas and water supply systems of residential buildings, schools and kindergartens is maintained, and everything necessary is done for the timely payment of wages at enterprises and organizations.

Then Lebap Velayat Khyakim Sh. Amangeldiev reported on the progress of agricultural campaigns.

The report included information on events scheduled on the occasion of the New Year’s Holiday, including the supply of markets and stores with food products during the holidays, as well as the steps to maintain the trouble-free operation of heating, energy, gas and water supply systems to residential buildings and social facilities, timely payment of wages to employees of enterprises and institutions, regardless of the form of ownership.

Having heard the report, and focusing on the need to carry out high-quality work in the agricultural sector, Head of State Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to ensure the care for wheat sown fields in accordance with agro-technical standards and the readiness of arable lands for the upcoming cotton sowing.

Further, Mary Velayat Khyakim B. Orazov reported on the pace of seasonal agricultural work.

According to the khyakim, work is in progress on the treatment of wheat sown fields in the region, in particular, vegetative irrigation and application of mineral fertilizers. The lands are plowed and fertilized for the next year’s cotton crop. At the same time, agricultural machinery and equipment are prepared for the upcoming sowing season.

As was reported, steps are taken in the velayat as part of preparation for the New Year’s celebrations to supply retail outlets with food products, as well as to maintain the proper operation of heating systems of social facilities, and trouble free electricity, natural gas and drinking water supplies to residents. Having heard the report, the President of Turkmenistan highlighted the importance of completing seasonal agricultural campaigns at a high-quality level and within the agro-technical terms, ordering to keep under constant control the issues of treating wheat sown fields, the proper plowing of lands for sowing cotton, as well as the sugar beet harvesting pace.

Then Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahallyev, who supervises the agro-industrial complex, reported on the progress of work in the agricultural sector.

As was reported, in order to achieve the goals set by the President of Turkmenistan to increase wheat yields and ensure food abundance in the country, vegetation irrigation and application of mineral fertilizers are carried out in the fields sown to wheat.

In order to gather a rich harvest of cotton and other agricultural crops, preparations are currently under way for the spring sowing season, as well as the plowing and leveling of lands.

Along with this, maintenance inspection and repair of agricultural machinery and equipment are carried out in view of the upcoming campaign.

Summing up the report, and specifying that the agro-industrial complex is one of the vital sectors of the national economy, the President of Turkmenistan stressed the importance of consistent implementation of reforms for the development of the industry. In this regard, the head of state instructed the deputy prime minister to keep under constant control the issues of compliance with agro-technical standards when caring for wheat and preparing lands for cotton sowing.

Addressing the working meeting participants, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused on the need for a responsible approach to seasonal agricultural works, and gave a number of specific instructions.

The head of state also instructed the velayat khyakims to ensure the high organizational level of celebrations on the occasion of the New Year’s Holiday, an abundance of food products in retail outlets at affordable prices and timely payment of wages.

Concluding the working meeting via a digital system, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished its participants sound health and great success in large-scale activities for the prosperity of the sovereign Homeland and its people’s wellbeing.
