Turkmenistan's air routes expand with the latest airplanes

Today, a new passenger airliner "Boeing 777-300 ER" landed at the International Airport of the Turkmen capital. It became the second aircraft of this series, for the purchase of which a contract was concluded with the world-famous American aerospace company "Boeing", according to the corresponding Decree of the President of Turkmenistan. The first aircraft was received by the airline "Turkmenistan" at the beginning of December last year.

Turkmen aviators associate the development of international passenger transportation with the operation of "Boeing" aircraft, primarily.

The acquisition of such modern airliners, along with strengthening the material and technical base, serves to expand the capabilities of the national civil aviation, meet the demand in this direction, provide air transportation at a high level, and create favorable conditions for strengthening trade and economic ties with countries around the world.

The "Boeing 777-300 ER" aircrafts can accommodate 368 passengers, have a non-stop flight range of 11,390 kilometers, and their cruising speed is 905 kilometers per hour. They will allow our air travelers to make flights to any continent.

The ground infrastructure of the International Airport of the Turkmen capital is also developing, with hangars located on its territory for parking and servicing aircraft of various types, which allows for constant monitoring of the technical condition of cargo and passenger aircraft in accordance with the requirements of the time and international standards. This is the main condition for the long-term use of aircraft and ensuring flight safety.

As part of the National Program for the Development of Civil Aviation of Turkmenistan for 2012-2030, extensive work is being carried out to further improve the material and technical base of civil aviation, construction and modernization of airports in the capital and regions, engineering and technical facilities and the training of qualified specialists.

By the way, in recent years, the flight and engineering personnel of Turkmen aviators have reached a high level of qualification and expertise in operating American equipment. Short-term courses and internships are continuing to be organized to train flight crews, flight attendants, transportation service workers, aviation security personnel and others.

The intensive expansion of the existing aircraft fleet in Turkmenistan is of strategic nature and aims to achieve economic and transit interests. Considering that the Turkmen airline is one of the safest in Asia, it has every chance to become a locomotive for regional transportation.

This is logical, as civil aviation has an important role in the development of the national economy and the expansion of international cooperation. By integrating into the global market of air transport services and representing independent Turkmenistan abroad, it also serves as an advocate for our country's peaceful policy.

One of the key vectors of this far-sighted strategy is the comprehensive development of the transport sector, where Turkmenistan, located at the crossroads of routes connecting the East and the West, Asia and Europe, in the heart of the legendary Great Silk Road, which is now being revived in new historical conditions, has significant potential. The specific initiatives of the Head of State Serdar Berdimuhamedov are aimed at the formation of a branched multimodal transport and transit infrastructure, the existence of which opens up broad prospects for productive interaction in the regional and global dimension.

...The festive atmosphere reigns at the venue of the event. Dance and music groups demonstrate their skills in front of the audience.

The speeches of the ceremony participants emphasized that the state pays great attention to strengthening the technical infrastructure of the country's aviation complex, including the acquisition of modern aircraft, which allows expanding the capabilities of domestic civil aviation, meeting the needs of international air cargo and passenger transportation and solving socio-economic tasks.

According to national tradition, representatives of the older generation performed a blessing ceremony on the occasion of the arrival of the new aircraft.

It should be noted that today the new airliner has already made a flight to Abu Dhabi. The agreement on establishing air communication between the capitals of the two countries - Ashgabat and Abu Dhabi - was reached the day before during the working visit of the Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the United Arab Emirates.
