Increasing the production of environmentally friendly food products and strengthening the export potential of the industry are the most important tasks set by the government for the agricultural sector of the country.

The flour mill of the Production Association "Balkangallaönümleri" in Gyzylarbat etrap of Balkan region contributes its worthy share to this cause. The technological facilities of the complex allow processing 50 thousand tons of wheat per year. The plant has two elevators with a capacity of 50 thousand and 30 thousand tons for wheat storage.

43,149 tons of wheat were processed here in 2023, resulting in 32,362 tons of flour, including 10,787 tons of high grade flour and 21,575 tons of first grade flour, as well as 9,810 tons of bran for animal feed. It is noteworthy that the plant exceeded its production plan for the previous year by 147 percent.
