Among the current topics of the socio-economic development of the country, discussed at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on the 12th of January, the issues of admitting candidates to graduate school, doctoral studies and clinical residency, as well as for academic degrees in 2024, were discussed.
As reported by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan N. Amannepesov, in 2024, held under the motto «The Fount of Wisdom Magtymguly Fragi», based on proposals received from applicants, a project has been prepared regarding the number of candidates who will be accepted into graduate and doctoral studies at research institutes and universities of the country, as well as for clinical residency and for obtaining academic degrees.
In this regard, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, especially emphasizing the importance attached to the constant improvement of the scientific and educational sphere in the country, addressed the Deputy Prime Minister with a number of instructions on the organized admission of worthy candidates to graduate school, doctoral studies and clinical residency this year.
Training high-level specialists, creating favorable conditions for the intellectual development and realization of the scientific and creative potential of young people, comprehensive support for young talents, as is known, is one of the priority tasks in the state.
Large-scale work is being carried out in this direction in the country, the national education system is steadily improving and functioning effectively, its material and technical base is being strengthened, and concrete steps are being successfully taken to bring domestic education to the level of world standards.
