The "Türkmengeologiýa" State Corporation is taking extensive measures to search for and identify drinking water deposits. Deputy Prime Minister B. Amanov, who supervises the oil and gas complex, reported this during a videoconference meeting of the Government.

As noted, the state creats all the necessary conditions for the successful implementation of exploration work of underground water using modern equipment.

Therefore, specialists from the State Corporation are conducting detailed hydrogeological surveys in the regions.

Summing up the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the search and identification of drinking water deposits is a pressing task. In this context, emphasis was placed on the importance of conducting scientific-based work. Moreover, highlighting the importance of the effective activities of the "Türkmengeologiýa" State Corporation, the head of state instructed to strengthen its material and technical base if necessary.
