On the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Fragi, posters featuring images of the classic of Turkmen literature, accompanied by wise sayings and excerpts from his poems, have appeared at city bus stops in Ashgabat.

Now, passengers can pass the time waiting for transportation by reading famous lines from Magtymguly Fragi's poem "Türkmeniň" and other inspiring quotes.

This year, held under the motto "The Fount of Wisdom of Magtymguly Fragi," the white-marble capital is preparing to open the Magtymguly Fragi Cultural and Park Complex and the monument to the great Turkmen poet.

In commemoration of this significant date, cultural and educational events dedicated to the motto of the year and the personality of the prominent thinker are being held throughout the country.
