During an extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed the Law "On the Establishment of the Jubilee Medal of Turkmenistan 'Magtymguly Pyragynyň 300 ýyllygyna'".

The award is established to honor the citizens of our country for their significant contributions to the study, careful preservation and popularization of the rich and invaluable creative heritage of the great thinker and poet-classic of the East Magtymguly Fragi.

According to the provisions of the medal, the honorary award can be given to citizens of Turkmenistan who have made substantial contributions to the development of national culture, achieved success in the fields of science, education, literature and art and have demonstrated themselves in the revival of the cultural heritage of the Turkmen people and its spiritual values.

The Jubilee Medal of Turkmenistan "Magtymguly Pyragynyň 300 ýyllygyna" can also be awarded to foreign citizens and stateless individuals who have special merits in the development of cultural and other friendly relations with Turkmenistan, as well as in the study and popularization of the creative heritage of Magtymguly Fragi.

Recipients of the Jubilee Medal "Magtymguly Pyragynyň 300 ýyllygyna" are awarded by the President of Turkmenistan.

The Jubilee Medal of Turkmenistan "Magtymguly Pyragynyň 300 ýyllygyna" is an octagonal shape with sharp corners. It is made of 925 sterling silver, covered with gilding. The overall diameter of the medal is 44.3 mm.

There is a single diamond in each corner of the octagon, adorned with national patterns. Around the outer circle of the medal, there are 8 small diamonds.

In the center of the gold-plated inner circle of the medal, against the background of sun ray images, there is a silhouette of Magtymguly Fragi standing with a book in his hand, wearing national attire. To the right of him are national writing tools, and on the left side are vertical embossed images of five Turkmen carpet gyols.
