Being a member of International Olympic Committee and the Asian Olympic Council, our peace-loving country propose concrete initiatives aimed at the development of Olympic movement and consolidation of international sport cooperation. These proposals are widely supported by the world’s community.
Together with 45 Asian countries, 17 states of Australia and Oceania expressed the intend to participate in V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in Ashgabat in 2017. This fact is a visual evidence of international recognition of state policy for sport development in our country.
Modern Olympic village built in our white marble capital is also an evidence that Turkmenistan, the country of health and inspiration, successfully implements the achievements based on national and universal values and humanitarian traditions, which meet the interests of people, society and the state, - the message says.
