Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan B. Annamammedov reported at the government meeting via video link about the ongoing work on the reconstruction of the Ashgabat Equestrian Complex.

According to the project, it is planned to build new additional stables, a veterinary pharmacy, an equestrian accessories store, open parking lots, water collection ponds, technical buildings, as well as to install monitors of various sizes and modern equipment on the territory of the equestrian complex.

In addition, the existing stables, main entrance, spectator stands, quarantine building, sports field, open arena will be reconstructed, and the adjacent areas will be improved.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that horses are the national pride of the Turkmen people.

"We pay great attention to the development of horse breeding in our country, including equestrian sports," the head of state noted and instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to closely monitor the reconstruction of the Ashgabat Equestrian Complex.
