The youth competition «Make your eco-dream come true» has been announced!

The public organization Ýaş tebigatçy («Young Naturalist») announces a competition of environmental projects «Fulfill your eco-dream! » among students of Turkmenistan. Students of all higher and secondary specialized educational institutions of Turkmenistan under the age of 35 are invited to participate in the competition.

    The competition is aimed at supporting and developing environmental initiatives among young people, raising their awareness of the importance of caring for nature and stimulating a creative approach to solving environmental problems. According to the chairman of the Public Organization «Young Naturalist» Leyla Shyhmadova, the competition is designed to inspire young people «to develop innovative solutions to protect the environment. Our goal is to provide real support to the new generation of environmentalists and help them make their dreams come true».

    The organizers of the competition offer participants a wide range of topics for their projects. They can choose an area of interest that is close to them or well known among such current topics as: Adaptation to climate change; Reducing greenhouse gas emissions; Biodiversity conservation; Recycling of household waste; Separate collection, reduction or recycling of household waste; Efficient energy consumption; Efficient use and conservation of water resources; Homeless animals; Preservation and development of green spaces in populated areas.

    According to the terms of the competition, projects must be submitted electronically. Other requirements require that the project be original and realistic with clearly defined goals and objectives, and contain an implementation plan and cost estimate.

    For the winners of the competition, various prizes are provided, including financial support for the implementation of their projects, diplomas and valuable gifts, and the opportunity to undergo an internship in leading environmental organizations of Turkmenistan.
